It's that time of year again - Blog action day, and the theme is poverty.

When I was in Indonesia as a child there were beggars, some of them quite young, who had removed their own limbs to gain more sympathy for there simply wasn't enough money for all the beggars and healthy ones were second priority. I haven't seen poverty like that since, ( Read more... )
